Presents "The Last Open Road" September 23-24, 2005 Shoals Conference Center Featuring Author - Racer B.S. Levy 2005 Northwest Alabama British Car & Motorcycle Gathering The 2005 gathering will feature B.S. Levy, Author-Racer as keynote speaker, spectacular four star accommodations at the new Shoals Marriott Hotel and Spa Conference Center. The gathering will be held on the grounds of the Conference Center. Judging and voting will be by participants only. There will be 1st place awards for most classes as well as distinguished awards as follows: Best of Show, Distance and Diamond in the Rough. As an added bonus, hourly drawings will be held for door prizes. 24 Keynote speaker: Author/Racer B.S. Levy Author/Racer Burt "BS" Levy is well known on the vintage scene as a journalist, color announcer, driving instructor, novelist, and particularly for his uncanny ability to "BS" his way into famous old racing cars on the thoroughly transparent pretext of "writing magazine stories about them." Levy is by far best known for his novels, The Last Open Road and its' sequel, Montezuma's Ferrari. Levy's books have now established themselves as genuine classics. Levy will be on hand this weekend at the gathering in Florence, and he will be available to chat with fans and sign copies of his books.
