The car club picnic is this Saturday (May 3) at Giles & Julia Gurley's house at 4:00 PM. It will be outside around their pool. They have enough seating.

Everyone is to bring their own drinks & plastic glass or cup. If you have a cooler please bring with some ice. (I have a small cooler, less then a bag of ice)

Entrance fee is physical door prize ($2-$3 each item) to be given away at the Car Club Show in Sept. Male bring a male prize, female bring a female prize. Ted will collect and store for our show.

Alan & Jean -- Lettuce & Tomato, Cole slaw

 Please email who is coming and what food item you plan to bring if not listed above. Everyone is invited. We need to have a head count for food.

Directions to Giles & Julia's--  57 County Road 419, Killen, AL -- 256-272-0976 ---- Totals miles = about 39 from Florence.

From Florence go East on Hwy 72 (towards Athens) through Center Star

Turn Right (south) on County Road 33 (Antique Flea Market)

Turn Left on County Road 111 (about 1/2 mile)

Go 2.6 miles (at one point it looks like 111 ends but bear to the right, you will go over two small bridges, this is still 111)

Turn right on County Road 419. House is first on the left (on a rise)

Coming from Athens/Decatur County Road 33 is between Elgin and Center Star.
